A seriously confusing sport. I often find myself watching it, purely out of boredom. It makes no sense to me at all. In summary...it's shit. Drving around in circles 400 times should not be what competitive motor racing is all about.
Thoughts on this dross?

Totally agree. Why watch NASCAR when you could watch Formula One? Our V8 Supercars actually go around proper tracks. You know, the ones that aren't circles.

Yeh, exactly. It's sad to say the only reason I watch it is in the hope of some kind of hideous pile up. But everytime I watch it...it makes less and less sense. It seems the idea is to not lead the whole race, but to just be in the lead at the end, which makes you wonder why they have up to 500 dismal laps. I'm really disappointed in Juan Pablo Montoya, who was one of the most talented F1 drivers the sport has ever seen and he throws it all away for NASCAR. Same goes for Scott Speed, only he was hever given a chance to shine in F1 because of the poor car.

One of our V8 Supercar drivers, Marcus Ambrose, went over to the horrid concept known the world over as NASCAR.
