Over 100 confirmed cases now in Australia, a few of those in Perth. Interestingly enough, of the 5 confirmed cases in Britain, one is in Barnet, where I live. While I realise the media make it sound a lot worse than it actually is, I think everybody has to be aware of what is going on with it. I heard some dismal bitch in a cafe comparing it to SARS and Bird Flu. Totally different things, this is much more serious because of the human to human element, not just rotten bird to human.
So, my advice is...if you see anybody with a cold, put them out of their misery by shooting them, but from a distance. You wouldn't want to risk going too close.

I have a cold...and I have been fucking pigs...could I have swine flu? As long as you didn't let them breathe in your face, you probably just caught the dreaded Perth Lurgy instead.

The dreaded Perth Lurgy. It is nearly as worse the Plague.

I've been going strong for 20 odd years now. Well there was that period in Victoria. How is the Leeds Virus going?

What's mean? And yeh, the Leeds virus is as bad as ever. But we don't complain. It would help if we all stopped rummaging through bins, but we'll never learn.

It's hit Canada in the Alberta region. Even here in Toronto but it's very minor at the moment.

The media have played it all up a fair bit. Statistically speaking, regular flu is more lethal the that of the Swine like nature.

Not on the ratio of number of cases to number of deaths. But historically, yeh. Just look at old people. At the first sign of flu they drop dead left, right and centre. Take my grandad for example. He battled through cancer and Parkinson's, but not flu.
