Under 5% of rape cases in the UK see a conviction against the accused. This is only 5% of those that actually even reach court. Most are just ignored before then. What can be done to improve the accuracy, as it's extremely difficult to imagine over 95% of women are lying, meaning many rapists can do the same thing again and again without fear of being convicted.
Me and a friend are writing an article about this very topic.

How come you have to write it? There's a campaign in certain parts of Leeds to firstly cut down on sexual attacks, secondly to see more cases actually reach trials and thirdly see more convictions than a crappy little 5%. I have two friends (both victims unfortunately) and I agreed to help them out in their quest with Leeds council and West Yorkshire government to point out the seriousness of the issue, as it's really overlooked. They aren't very good at writing you see. I mean, they can both write, obviously. But itz a bt lk dis init. With my near perfect punctuation, grammar and knowledge of the female anatomy (okay, that bit is a lie), I am just what they needed, lol.

That's good that you are trying to raise awareness of the issue. Are there many others campaigning with you? The local councils here have a habit of being...well...shit.
