Before my Xbox 360 broke, I was really enjoying playing the game. I don't like some aspects though. The pigeon's is a bad idea, and what is up with car washes?

Don't have it and nor have I played it, but I have heard good things. Everyone keeps telling me about how comprehensive the game is, i.e. little features like knocking someone's coffee out of their hands or even pouring it on them. Disapointed it didn't come out on the Wii, but then again didn't really expect it too. Is it the best in the series so far from what you have played?

I haven't played it enough. My xbox died last week. It's pretty good so far. I like that you can have friends, and that you can get pissed. But, as far as I can tell there are no crazy jumps and the pigeon shooting offers no immediate reward. So it is really a waste of time. It would be hard to top Vice City though.

This game pissed me off so much to the point I stopped playing and wondering if I'll ever play it again.
- First came day 1, where of course I got it at midnight and played it immediately. I hated the controls and drove like a drunk most of the time. Yes I could have switched but wanted to adapt to it for strategic purposes. - First hour has passed and my ps3 warns me the machine is overheating. - Day 2 the overheating continues. - Day 3 I decided to go to the store and demanded a new copy. - The weekend came and I finally received a new copy. - Overheat continues. Clerk tells me it's my machine. I tell him this has never happened before and it's the damn game. He gives me a new copy but this one is a code 2. Most people have 3 (or it may be the other way around...) - I decided this one is make or break. - The freezing stops. - Weeks later, I played different games and my ps3 warns me of overheating. I knew what I had to do.
- Against my wishes, but for the best I sold my original 60gb ps3 and bought a new 40gb now modern ps3 (which isn't ps2 compatible). - Played GTA IV a few more times during the summer but the damage was done. I had enough of GTA IV and deemed it "a overhyped game that ruined my ps3".
As of now, GTA IV remains in my place collecting dust drifting away into despair. The damage is so deep I may never buy another GTA game ever again because of Rockstar's incompetence.

What's wrong with the game? It's pretty similar to Vice City and GTA III, except it has some stupid features that are completely pointless. Otherwise, I have enjoyed the storyline, and some of the extra features are good, like dating and getting pissed.

For starters it really felt like GTA III, except bigger.
- It's not just the driving, it's also what comes with it. I mean in the past you'd look at your surroundings and know each shortcuts and whatnot. This one, you're always looking into your damn gps and if you try to floor it odds are extremely high you will crash. Okay technically that's kinda fun but not longterm. Plus there's a lot of hills. It felt like I was driving in San Fransisco.
- I have minor problems with the story. I went as far as Brucie but quickly notice his jobs go completely 180.
- Weapons, armor are very hard to find in the city. It would take me 20 minutes just to find a gun.
- I'm on the fence with the drive-by shooting. I mean I have to hold 4 buttons when doing this.

Yeah I get what you're saying. I really don't like the gun situation. I don't even bother trying to find guns, I just buy them, which is something I've never done before. The features in the police car are alright too.
