Saw this on TV.COM posted in 2009....How somebody other than us did this I'll never know...pretty awesome: Ok it's cool to have this opportunity. The dates and places might be a little off, but it has been a long time. So if anyone has any questions feel free to ask, and I will go through the hundreds of emails I have and try and answer them.
The Tv Tome wrestling community started around 2003. The notable members around this time were Zarius, Whatwhat, Flarekid, Pizza the Hut and Skip Foreplay. WWE Pay-Per-View was edited by Zarius, Skip Foreplay edited Raw, and Smackdown was editted by Flarekid and Whatwhat. The guides were comprehensive, and the forums were awash with thoughtful discussion. Eventually members such as System, Paul Bentham, Matt Mc, Jake M, Ciaran and others came along, and we had a nice little community who knew what they were talking about. System and Paul Bentham were young editors who worked their way through WWE Velocity, Heat and Experience. Their guides were some of the best on the site. Not only did they have excellent front pages, but the summaries of the shows were second-to-none. Eventually, Skip Foreplay went a little crazy and decided he didn't want to edit properly anymore, but he would not give up his position. After a long battle with him, which involved the Webmaster, System took his rightful place as the editor of Raw (which was considered the most important of the wrestling guides).

This was in 2004. Between 2004 and 2005, Skip Foreplay fought back by spamming the forums with his mates. Eventually though, they left the the Raw guide became the excellent guide that it always should have been. However, Tv Tome was sold to CNET, and all the hard work was lost. The new site did not accomodate the hours of effort put in by the members who built the community, and one by one the members were banned. System, Matt Mc, Whatwhat, Zarius and others did the best they could to fight for what they considered to be theres, but they eventually lost to the giant corporation. All was not lost though, as System started a forum known originally as the World Burns, and then Inside the Ropes. For two years the members of TV Tome found a home in The World Burns. The site managed over 30,000 posts a year with its loyal members making the majority of posts. Eventually though, the site died. It did not have another site to feed off anymore, so it could not survive. Now, if anyone cares to look, there is an archive of the site. There are no new memberships allowed, and no one can post there anymore:

However, there is new hope. One of the prominent members from the World Burns, Jenko123, has started a new site. It embodies the spirit of the Tv Tome wrestling community, and most of the old members are still there, enjoying each others company. If you would like to come along and join, please feel free:

There are many, many stories about the old site, and if you would like to here them, either ask me a question, or just come a long to the new site, the World Turns, and register!.
Thank you for this opportunity.
